Welcome to Abernethy

Abernethy is a farming community located approximately an hour northeast of Regina and an hour west of Yorkton. Founded in 1904, the village is the seat of the Rural Municipality of Abernethy No. 186 and the hometown of W. R. Motherwell, Saskatchewan's first Minister of Agriculture and Len Thompson, the famous fishing lure manufacturer.
